The TCP8301.I OnLine profilometer
is designed as an online device for measuring the thickness and width of rubber profiles directly on production lines.
The system works based on optical triangulation using two laser beams on each side of the profile. The laser beams’ reflection on the profile is recorded and evaluated by cameras located above and below the profile.
The number of cameras depends on the width of the profile and the required accuracy.
The system features unique automatic calibration, where the measuring system is calibrated throughout the entire measurement range for thickness and width.
The system’s construction ensures augmented temperature stability for measurement.

- Width measurement range of up to 1,000 mm (standards are 550, 750, and 1,000 mm)
- Thickness measurement range of up to 60 mm
- Width precision < ±200 µm (3 sigma)
- Thickness precision < ±20 µm (3 sigma)
- Frequency of 20 measurements per second
